Smart Security Alarm

LDT Design helped our client develop Cocoon from the initial concept through development and testing until it was ready for high volume manufacturing. The product has been in volume manufacture since August 2016 and it has won various design awards.

Night Vision Camera

LDT Design helped our client develop a handheld injection moulded enclosure and docking station from concept to fully detailed CAD ready for injection moulding. The Sentinel handheld IR night-vision range was launched at IFSEC Southeast Asia 2016 and on the back of a fantastic exhibition and market reaction the product will be available for sale early 2017.

Thermal Imaging Camera

LDT Design created the easy and comfortable to use camera that is rugged and robust. It was a technically challenging project involving stringent ATEX approvals, an articulating camera head, IP65 environmental testing, a drop test and a custom designed removable battery pack. The camera has been in volume production since 2013.

Instant Boiling Water Range

We helped our client develop a new boiling hot water tap range and pressurised tank system from concept to manufacture. The main challenge for the product was creating an elegant product range that was safe to use and complied with CE approvals. The Zen range hit the market in 2015 and is listed with many online retailers including Amazon. The full range of products includes ZEN Solo, ZEN ice, ZEN Life and ZEN Spa which offer added functionality.

SD Screwdriver

LDT took Viper-tronics original concept and re developed and engineered the enclosure to be compact and comfortable to use whilst maintaining the key functions of the product: direct and non direct voltage detection, functional screwdriver and LED torch. It was challenging to integrate the electronics into a compact enclosure making it no larger than a standard screwdriver. Viper-tronics are currently seeking further investment to take their patented device to market.
